Microsoft has released the lastest rollup update for Exchange 2010, Rollup 4.
Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2010 resolves issues that were found in Exchange Server 2010 since the software was released. This update rollup is highly recommended for all Exchange Server 2010 customers.

The Exchange Team (Ross Smith) has updated the Mailbox Server Role Requirements Calculators for both Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010.
For the Exchange 2007 calculator, the changes were minor (bug fixes essentially). As for the Exchange 2010 calculator, well as usual, there have been a number of bug fixes (mostly related to those pesky active copies after a server failure formulas); however, those fixes are not the only changes.

Microsoft has published a new architecture poster, this time an overview of the Hyper-V Component Architecture.
This poster provides a visual reference for understanding key Hyper-V technologies in Windows Server 2008 R2. The Exchange team has published an interesting article about Outlook Anywhere Performance on Windows 2008 R2 servers.
We recently compared the performance of the Exchange 2010 Client Access role supporting Outlook Anywhere users on both Windows 2008 SP2 and Windows 2008 R2, and found that the improvements the Windows Team has made in R2 more than doubles the number of concurrent users a given server can support, assuming CPU is the limiting resource.
