Exchange 2013 and Lync 2013 is now available on TechNet and MSDN


Microsoft has now made the final version (RTM) wave 15 products available for download to TechNet and MSDN subscribers. The following products are available for download: Exchange 2013 Lync 2013 SharePoint 2013 Office 2013 Visio 2013 Project 2013 General availability is still in Q1. Exchange 2013 and Lync 2013 Exams Announced


Along with the RTM announcement of the Exchange 2013 and Lync 2013 products, Microsoft is getting the Certification exams ready for both products, they are currently still in the  development (beta) stage. Wave 15 is now RTM


Great news from Microsoft last week. They announced the Released to Manufacturing (RTM) of the wave 15 products, which are: Exchange 2013 Lync 2013 SharePoint 2013 Office 2013 The RTM bits should be available on TechNet/MSDN/Volume Licensing from mid-november. General availability is planned for the first quarter of 2013. Exchange 2013 For co-existence with Exchange 2010 or 2007, updates for both 2010/2007 is required. Exchange 2010 Service Pack 3 Announced


The Exchange Team has just announced the Service Pack 3 for Exchange Server 2010. It is currently scheduled for release in first half of 2013. The SP3 will as expected include support for Co-existence with Exchange 2013 and also support for installing Exchange 2010 on Windows Server 2012. Along with these two major features, it will contain all fixes within Update Rollups released prior to SP3. Read more on the Exchange Team blog about the announcement.

How to change the Recipient Type of a Mailbox in Exchange or Office 365


If you need to change the purpose of an existing Exchange Mailbox, for instance changing a User Mailbox to a Shared Mailbox or maybe the other way around, changing a Shared Mailbox to a User Mailbox.
