Microsoft has released the lastest rollup update for Exchange 2010, Rollup 4. Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2010 resolves issues that were found in Exchange Server 2010 since the software was released. The Exchange Team (Ross Smith) has updated the Mailbox Server Role Requirements Calculators for both Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010. For the Exchange 2007 calculator, the changes were minor (bug fixes essentially). As for the Exchange 2010 calculator, well as usual, there have been a number of bug fixes (mostly related to those pesky active copies after a server failure formulas); however, those fixes are not the only changes. Saw some news at this Microsoft blog, about what’s coming in SP1 for Exchange 2010 regarding Exchange hosting. It is important especially to those who are running current HMC Hosted Exchange because Exchange 2010 SP1 Hosting model will replace the existing Exchange hosting in HMC. Read the blog post.
